Round7 Mission

Our core mission is to advance recreational research and develop effective training methodologies that help children of all abilities learn independent foundational skills in hobbies, sports, and outdoor activities. While we specialize in supporting children across the autism spectrum (Levels 1, 2, and 3), our inclusive approach is designed to benefit kids of all abilities.

Supporting Missions

In addition to our core mission, Round7 focuses on several supporting initiatives:

  • Gear Research & Testing
    We evaluate off the shelve recreational equipment to identify tools that make learning faster, safer, and more affordable for families.
  • Performance Analytics & Development Tracking
    We collect data to track athlete progress, skill development timelines, and training effectiveness to continuously improve our methods.
  • Bridge to Community
    We build relationships with local community clubs, recreation programs, and sports teams to help our athletes transition into inclusive community activities.
  • Training for the Autism Entourage
    Our goal is to train not only the athlete, but also parents, siblings, caregivers, support staff, extended family, and friends to learn and participate in recreational activities together—creating shared experiences, stronger bonds, and natural opportunities for connection in outdoor environments.

Our vision is to highlight the capabilities and resilience of children affected by autism by empowering them to participate confidently and successfully in recreational activities.

Our Goals

  1. Use recreation as a social tool to help all children build connections and friendships.
  2. Provide lifelong outlets for reducing stress and supporting mental well-being.
  3. Offer functional, skill-building activities that every child can enjoy and benefit from.

Our Priorities

  1. Train associate coaches across the U.S. and Canada in our methodology to deliver inclusive recreational services to all children.
  2. Advance research on innovative methods for teaching higher-level recreational skills such as driving, flying, and boating.
  3. Grow from a small service provider into a large-scale organization that offers lifelong support for all children.
