Coaching Staff

At Round 7, our coaching staff is the foundation of our programs. Every coach is developed through our internal training system to ensure they understand how to safely and effectively support children on the autism spectrum while delivering structured recreational training.

Certifications

All Round 7 coaches maintain current certifications in:

  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • First Aid
  • Round 7 internal coaching certification

The Round 7 – 1000 Mile Coach Development Model™

Unlike traditional programs that rely only on classroom instruction, Round 7 measures coaching readiness through real-world experience. We believe great coaches are built through time on the field, not just theory.

Our 1000 Mile Coach Development Model™ tracks the actual distance coaches train alongside athletes. This ensures coaches gain true experience working with children of different abilities, behaviors, and learning styles.

This model ensures coaches develop:

  • Real-world coaching judgment
  • Autism-informed instruction experience
  • Safety awareness in active environments
  • Patience and behavioral understanding
  • Skill progression planning
  • Confidence coaching techniques

Miles represent real coaching hours in parks, trails, courts, and training environments—not classroom simulations.
